What time do I report for
Skatathon?
View our Race e-guide for the respective reporting times for our races. You are recommended to arrive at
least 15 minutes earlier. Latecomers may not be allowed to participate due to safety reasons.

If I'm under the age of 18, what do I need to do for the Risk Acknowledgment form?
You MUST bring a physical copy of the Risk Acknowledgement form that is SIGNED by your parent /
legal guardian. We have the right to refuse entry if you cannot provide it on race day.

How do I know which wave I am assigned to?
Each participant would be assigned a race bib number after registering on race day. Participants will be
assigned to the waves according to their race bib numbers.

How do I know if my entry has been accepted?
You will receive an email confirmation slip upon your successful registration.

Do I get a refund if I
choose not to participate after registration?
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

What is the minimum age
to participate in Skatathon 2023?
All age groups are welcome. However, with the safety of our younger participants in mind, we urge
parents to assess the suitability of the event for their children based on their skating abilities and
endurance levels. For skaters under the age of 18, the physical copy of our indemnity form with parental
consent must be shown at the point of registration. You may print the PDF version found in registration
form, or our confirmation email.

I do not have a helmet.
Can I still join Skatathon?
Helmets are compulsory to participate in Skatathon. Skaters must show their helmets at
registration, or they would be turned away.

What happens if it
rains?
Seek immediate shelter! We will wait out and give some time for the floor to dry up. If the rain
persists till 10:30am, the race will unfortunately be cancelled without refunds. Please refer to
the e-guide for more information regarding wet weather plans.

Do I need to bring anything while skating?
Bring: Your own skates, water bottle, Helmet, and your handphone. You are recommended to pack light and
bring your valuables along with you while you skate, as there will not be any designated areas to place
your bags.

What if I am injured, or
am not able to complete my Skatathon route?
Please approach the nearest first aid points or bicycle sweepers along the route. If not, call the
safety number behind the race bib. We will also broadcast the safety number on our Facebook and
Instagram nearer to the race day.

How do I show proof of
race completion?
Finisher medals are only given to participants who completed the race. Wrist bands collected at U-turn
points are proof of race completion, and would be exchanged for the finisher medal.

Is there a cut-off point
for the race?
Participants who do not return by 12:30pm would not have their timings recorded.

When do I collect my gift bags and finisher medal?
Gift bags would be given out together with the finisher medal when you have completed the race. All
skaters would receive the gift bag regardless of race completion. Finisher medals are only given to
skaters who completed the race.

When will I know my
timing?
Race timings are timed manually and will be posted on our Instagram page before 17 September 2023.

Are there prizes for
individual categories?
As Skatathon is an inclusive event for skaters of different age groups and skating proficiencies, it is
not a competitive event and there are no prizes for individual categories. However, we have a
complimentary race pack for all participants and attractive prizes to win in our giveaways!
